Anti-Odor Balaclava

The fabric across my forehead feels smooth under the front of my helmet. That was the first thing I noticed when trying it on.

Used it for the ride to the shops and back. Comfortable, and no more gear than I needed.

I tie my hair low when I ride and was a little unsure how this would feel over it. It took a bit of arranging, but I found a comfortable setup. Happy enough with the fit now.

There was a cold breeze while I waited for my friend before our ride. Having my face covered made the wait a bit more comfortable. I had only thought about wearing it while moving.

I have a fairly small face and was unsure about the adult stretch fit. It sits closer than I expected. That's my experience, anyway; sizing was the part I worried about most.

I wore it during an easy ride with my partner. We weren't going fast, and I found it comfortable enough to leave on until we got home. It did what I needed without becoming the focus of the outing.

At our coffee stop I took off my helmet and the cover without a fuss. Nice when you're ready to sit down and have a drink.

On level roads it feels comfortable, though I do get warmer wearing it on a steep climb. Still pleased with it overall. Most of my regular route is fairly easy going.

I rode out while it was still sunny and came home after the temperature dropped. I was glad to have this for the return leg. That change between afternoon and evening is exactly why I bought it.

The area around my jaw feels comfortable. I was concerned it might press there, but it hasn't bothered me so far.

I used to spend a little time arranging a scarf before leaving. Pulling this on is more straightforward for me. It also feels more like something intended for cycling than borrowing part of my everyday winter outfit.

Most of my cycling is a slow loop around the park, not a long training session. This has been quite comfortable for that. I wanted something for ordinary outings and didn't need lots of extras.

I like the simple black appearance. Goes with the things I already wear.

My lower face usually feels quite exposed coming down the hill near home. Having some coverage there is a noticeable improvement. Nothing complicated, just useful.

This is my first cycling face cover, so I don't have much to compare it with. The fall/winter option has been comfortable for my short evening rides. Glad I finally tried one.

Tried it with the helmet I already own. I could fasten everything normally, which was my main concern before ordering.

The bridge on my route is much more exposed than the rest of the ride. With this on, that stretch feels less unpleasant on my face. I still notice the wind, but I no longer dread that particular part of the journey.

Unfortunately it does not fit like the example in the photo (advertised). The eye cut-out area is too narrow in width across the face and it is not a snug fit around the nose. The material is great though.

Took it on a short trip where we hired bikes for an afternoon. Folded it in with my gloves and barely noticed the extra space. It was an easy thing to bring along.

Fits snug under my helmet. Wind protection is solid during high-speed downhill rides, and it absorbs sweat instantly. NestAndCart delivered fast too.

Originally bought it for cycling, then packed it for a weekend walk along the coast. It was useful when the wind picked up. Nice to have something I can use for both instead of another item that only comes out with the bike.
